What a view

My buddy Jim snapped this panoramic view of the sky after our surf tonight. Full double rainbow and incredible color. Was a sight to see.

Board boarding, Fall 2015 update

This lovely 9'8" Rick Noserider is another return visitor to the Goofyfoot's Garage.

Its first stay was back in 2013 when it had recently been rescued from a dumpster. Missing its fin and showing just a few minor dings, it was very solid overall and going to a young man that was sure to get it back into the line-up.
July 2013 - scratched and broken but nowhere near dead.

Natural Art - Richard Cram model

Anyone remember Richard Cram? Aussie from 83-84 with a mean forehand cutback.
Found this 4 or 5 years ago on the FL panhandle and its been sitting in my sister's garage ever since. Finally had the opportunity to bring it home. Nice example of a 1984 board design.
Plenty of heelies on the deck, a little tan all around but solid overall and the fins are still in place.

Down, but not out

I managed to catch one of those energy draining colds that likes to hang on for a month or so. Didn't let it keep me out of the water much so that may be one reason its still hanging around. October was yin and yang surf wise. A lot of NE swell but too much wind on a lot of days. Sandbars in CM grew while the Rocks sand is all jacked around. Venturing away from the routine haunts and surfing other locales up the shore. Water's getting colder and the neoprene is quickly coming out of storage. Thanks October, and welcome November.
