A rare sled stops by the Goofyfoot's Garage!

She's an Aussie native, now residing in the mid Atlantic region.
8'6"x 23", stringerless, V-bottom, wide point aft, quite thin and bladed.
An incredible sight to see and feel. I hope that a day arrives in the near future
when I can take her for a ride. :)

Too many tears...

 A boy an his dog...

Had to say farewell to our sweet little girl yesterday. It was a difficult day to say the least but the cancer had taken hold in her and it was time to ease her pain.   : (

Not sure how these little furry things imbed themselves so deeply into our hearts, but it happens.
Love ya Pukini. Aloha Oi.....

Slick Rick

Finally got to take this Rick nose rider for a spin. Waves were a little bigger than expected but I played it safe and grabbed a couple smaller ones to get my feet wet, so to speak. Didn't want to hurt Matt's baby in what turned out to be more like head high beach break than mello 2' rollers.  But..... after I passed up several of the larger sets there was one that had our name written all over it as it stood up on the outer sandbar. Shoulder high and just perfect. This slick Rick had no problem getting in and holding solid on a rather verical wall. Fast and fluid down the line and living up to the hype that I've heard so much of regarding this model. No ten toes over, not that kind of day. Eager for another session with this legend.
