Housekeeping...
Since any chance of a surf went by the wayside for this afternoon(AGAIN!), figured it was a good day to do some cleaning.
LC = Larry C. in SD. This is the 2nd LC hand me down I've had. He got the first one back but I don't plan to repeat that mistake. ;) Pretty sure I am holding onto this gem until the end. 
She moves me!

Not a bad way to end a Monday
Took a ride over just in case there was something pushing through at high tide. Didn't look like much from the beach but was well worth the paddle out. A bit on the mushy side but most rolled all the way through to the sand and offered some nice long little slides. Warm water, an empty line-up and a fat 9'10" Zeph Carrigg underfoot..... Nice way to end the day.

Something blue
Blue skies and chilly, near crystal clear water the last few days. Three late afternoon sessions were a very welcomed treat. Fun log worthy waves with plenty of good vibes out in the line-up. Had a bus load of waves on the 9'10" G. Propper last night. The time it allows me to spend up on the nose is increasing with each surf. Finding it to be a favorite within my current quiver. Also, got a chance to slide a few on a friend's sweet little 7'8" vintage Ernie Tanaka V-bottom. Slippery little thing and amazingly fast. Good times!

Road Trip
Rolled out to Battle Creek, MI for the weekend to attend a wedding. My buddy's son tied the knot with his longtime GF on a lovely 4th of July afternoon. The lakeside residents were all locked and loaded and provided an awesome fireworks display after sunset. Long drive but well worth it. Good times with good friends!
