Tale of a Tail

The tail of my 10' Cooperfish Device has always intrigued me. The sides of the tail roll upward slightly and form a channel for water to flow from the deck. Not sure the history behind the design or if Gene was the fist to utilize it. I had not seen it on any other board until I got this one. One of those subtle things that peaks the curiosity. Aloha!
