A Good Read

Recently finished reading the book "Lone Survivor" by Marcus Luttrell. While not a brand new release, I saw it mentioned while looking for a book for my son's upcoming 20th birthday. With one of my own heading over to Afghanistan later this year I have found myself wanting to learn a bit more on the region and I heard this book was well written. I cannot imagine the strength it took for this young man to survive as he did but it is a true testament to how strong the human spirit can be. I can only pray that my son will never see what this man saw and I long for the day when this mess is over and all our soldiers, sailors, and airmen safely return home.
