Is that foam dust on your jacket?
Got to tag along with my buddy J-Rob this afternoon as he set up details for a new 9'2".
Surf's flat, wind is gale force out of the NW, wind chill going down to
-2 this evening, talking surf and board designs keeps the soul nice and
toasty warm!

Drones?
There's been some chatter about these things in the papers in the
past few months. Rumor mill has been full of all kinds of stories on
what their actual purpose is or will be.... A crowd showed up today to check out the show. I didn't get any decent shots of it in the air, just a few once it was back on the ground...
Honestly, I was thinking it was going to be something more than it actually turned out to be.
Meanwhile.....
we spent the AM digging new drainage trenches on a frozen parade field.
My sweet ride! :)

Solo at sunrise
Clean loggin lines @ sunrise this morning. All by my lonesome for a good hour till some friends joined me. Think I skimmed the cream of it this morning.
Was fun!
A few post session snaps. Dean on his way in.

Got in early....
...and glad that I did. Looked about thigh high from the dunes but once in the water it was a little better and clean as you could want. Pure glass at moments and very fun lined up walls to play on. Spun around on a little left as soon as I got out into the line up and was so happy to just pop to my feet and go. Felt good to be surfing again. Managed 2 hours till the tide "wonked" things up. Air 30, water 40, just me, my trusty 9'10" Zeph and a pack of ducks hanging on the outside waiting for the better sets. :)
"selfie" Ha!
