Got to take Matt's 10' glider for a spin today. Clean conditions in the chest to head high range provided some good opportunities to see what the board could do. Or better yet, what I could do on the board. Good times!
Got a phone call Thanksgiving morning from my buddy stationed in HI. I'm thinking he must be home in DE for the holiday. Nope, he's standing on the North Shore at sunrise delivering a long distance surf report.
Great to hear his voice and catch up on things. Can't say I was too surprised to hear that he's found a new love in riding big surf. One of those guys who is always up for bigger challenges in life. Stoked to hear he's doing well out there and loving life to the fullest.
A battered and bruised 8'6" Challenger (Eastern) stopped by the Goofyfoot's Garage for a few days. On her way west to see Mr. Garbutt for a little TLC. I like the outline and the rails, pretty cool multi wedge stringer set up too. I little thick in the tail area but looks like it could be fun to take for a ride. Looking forward to seeing how she turns out.
